Description

This PIR motion sensor, decoded from the article code SLICK JQ-L-W, is a passive infrared detector that switches connected lighting on when it picks up movement within range. It runs on a 220 to 240V AC supply and is wired in line with the fittings it controls, giving hands-free, automatic switching for entrances, hallways, drives and garden zones. The compact plastic housing measures 77 by 125 by 85 mm in a clean white finish.

Rated IP44, it stands up to splashes and is suited to sheltered outdoor and damp indoor positions, though it should be kept clear of direct water jets and full exposure. The PIR head allows the detection time and ambient light threshold to be adjusted so it triggers only after dark and stays on for the chosen period.
