Description

This is a wireless indoor motion sensor for detecting movement and presence around the home. The article code reads S SENSOR PIR INT 10M, giving an internal sensor with a 10 metre detection range. It runs on either 2 x 3V DC batteries or a 5V USB supply, so it can be sited away from mains wiring, and it links over Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz to report activity. The white housing carries an IP20 rating, marking it for dry indoor use only and not exposed or damp locations.

Mount it in a hallway, landing, garage or utility area to trigger connected fittings or alerts when someone passes through. The compact body sits discreetly against a wall or ceiling and the 10 metre range covers most rooms and corridors.
