The Leaf Wetness Sensor measures if the leaves of the crop/culture have been wet, and for how long this event lasted. This information is specially useful when using Disease Models.Leaf Wetness works by measuring the conductivity in a filter paper. The filter paper is held between two stainless steel electrodes in a transparent holder. The use of transparent Lucite plastic as a holder reduces warming of the sensor when it is exposed to direct sunlight.
